I am an official Cal Poly Pomona alumnus.  One of the places that holds a lot of events for the school is the downtown Pomona area.  There is an art gallery there, a couple of nice restaurants, and the Glass House (many concerts are held there…I saw Talib Kweli perform there and I know The White Stripes did a show there too).

I’ve conducted quite a few shoots there because there are many older looking buildings there and the concrete is made of some sort of material that bounces the sunlight from the ground really well.  This is how this shot came about.  One aspect of this picture that I find really dope is the fact that I made no coloring or contrast adjustments.  What you see in this image is exactly how the scene looked in a natural setting, bright and colorful.
